The Art of Scamming By: Jon Anthony This document was written to provide the most recent scamming techniques that are used today to get peoples� money, personal information such as their ss number, or access to their accounts. It shows how to perform the scam and how to watch out so you yourself will not be scammed. Scamming to get free Cash: $$$ 1. Santa Claus Scam: Christmas, a holiday where everyone has a good heart so, why not take advantage of it by dressing up as the so called Christmas spirit Santa Clause. Go to a store and buy yourself a Santa Claus custom and get something where people can throw their money and make sure it will match your custom; ex: a chimney, or big candy cane with a hole on top where people can pass by and throw their cash in. Then when you are set go to a busy street and stand on the coner of it with your Santa suit and the box or whatever you have where people will put their money in, and stand there greeting the people as they pass by and telling them to donate a little money to Helps feed the poor children in Haiti. {Be creative} I guarantee you that this will work perfectly and no cop will stop you unless you put a banner of a real charity group anywhere on your things. But besides that you are well set to come home with at least couple of hundred dollars. 2. Water company Scam: Take advantage of the people's goal to be healthy. You will need a car, suit that looks as if you are a real water repair person,fake booklet, and two test tubes. First get a car and a fake sign saying you represent some kind of water company that you will place on the outside of the automobile. Then put on your suit and fill up one tube with clean water but add some soil or any other particles to it to make it look dirty and then with the other tube go up to a random house and tell them we are currently having trouble with the water system and you would Like him/her to fill up the empty tube with water from their faucet. Then when he/she comes back with their water you take the tube from them and start questioning them if anyone in their household got a stomach ache or got sick from the water; and as she speaks you will switch the two tubes under the notebook you should have and then show him/her the tube of water he/she currently gave you and he/she will see it is polluted or dirty. Then you will tell him/her that you are currently giving away free filters and all he/she has to do is fill out a check for ex: $50 dollars for a new water filter in which his/her money will be refunded fully after the new filter is installed. While he/she is filling out the check they will ask you who to make the check payable to and you will reply in saying leave it blank I will stamp it my self or tell em to make it payable to the president or whatever of the company that will be you. Then tell them we will schedule a water man to come here within the next 2 days or whatever to do an independent check on your water system and install the new filter. Finally you can leave in your car and cash the check and you just got for 50 free dollars. 3. Mailman Scam: Take advantage of those good neighbors. To perform this scam you need a car, package, and a booklet {you need to look like a real shipping person}. Then pull up to a neighbors house with your mail looking delivery car and fake package and ask them to please except this package for their neighbor because their neighbor is currently not home but the package will have a small 10 dollar fee on it to receive it which they may pay in Cash. If they are a decent neighbor most of the time they shall except it and pay the small fee. Then you can take the 10 dollars and go home!!!!! {In the package you may put rocks or old newspapers in it; be creative}. 4. 900 number Scam: This one is easy to do, get a 1900 number then beep lawyers, doctors etc., If they are rich people and not cheap they will reply to the beep and you will get the 4 dollars for the call and the additional 3 dollars a minute. Then you can just tell them they made a mistake nobody beeped you from this number. And you got yourself couple of dollars. 5. Lottery Scam: Make a fake lottery and send it to some people saying to fill out some form with their information to enter the lottery to win a new car or whatever. Then when you receive the form back take it wait a while then call the person back telling him he just won a new car in the lottery he entered. Then tell him there will be this amount of taxes and shipping charges to receive your car and tell him if he wants his prize he/she will have to pay the shipping and tax fee. Take that money he/she will pay you and you are off. 6. Charity Scam: Call a person up ask them to make a charity to some group to help the poor or whatever. Ask them to write out a small donation of any amount they feel are right and make the check payable to and some person you know that can cash it or even yourself if you are that dumb. Then when you receive the check cash it and thank the person that just gave you the money! 7. Investment Scam: This scam got its own 3 page book on how to perform it so let me tell you the basic of how it works. Make a fake company up send the company's advertisement to people or call them up asking them to invest in it and after they do take their cash and run{LoL}. That is how it is basically made to work. 8. Newspaper Scam: Do you see a hundred different vending machines on one block. Well take advantage of them. Buy one paper for whatever it might cost and take all of the papers from the vending machine then go and sell them for your own price or cheaper. The beauty of this scam is that you keep all the profit!!! 9. Fake Merchandise Scam: Everyone wants the top and most popular clothes, so go buy anywhere like in China Town free labels of the company such as Tommy Hilfiger. Buy some cheap shirts put the labels on them and go sell them to kids or people for a very cheap price compared to what it would cost for the original. 10. Fake Tapes: This is another easy one to do. Get a video recorder and go see the newest movie in some cheap shitty theater and record it. Then go home make copies of it and go sell it at 5-10 dollars a movie!!! Scamming On The Interactive Network: 1. Password Stealers Scam: Everyone has America on-line or has used it before, so go make it useful. Make a program or dl a program of AOL that is so called password stealer. What the program does is it reads the text box that you type in your id and password on to sign up to aol and sends the information to an email address you specify it to send it to. You can dl a password stealer from you mail box because I am sure someone sent you one to steal your password already, then you can hex it by using a program called hexedit.exe and change the email address to yours. Then send it to other AOL users saying it's a new program or whatever be creative and when they dl and run it will automatically send you their password and erase the mail from their box without them even knowing. However, my friend's new password stealer encrypts the email address so you can not find it but that�s a different file. 2. Email Scam: Send a user on any service for example AOL or MSN a letter saying we have trouble with our database and need your current password then when he/she sends you their pw back it back you can go and use it or get the accounts information, or even order stuff on the account to a different address that the owner of the account will have to pay for. There is more ways to scam to get money or information figure some out and you can send me them at [email protected] . These are just the main ones. However, after reading this I hope you know what to look for and in case you may suspect a phone fraud such as the lottery or investment I mentioned above you may call this number to report it 1800-876-7060. Also you are wasting your time reporting passwords' scams on AOL because chances are the person that sent you the mail it is not really his account and AOL gets about more then 1000 reports a day.
